Mission Statement

Our mission is to be a leading provider of financial assistance to sarcoma research programs and to help accelerate the development of new and improved treatments that will eventually lead to a cure for this disease. The foundation funds much needed research and awards grants to promising research groups.

In November 2001, one month after his 24th birthday Ferrin lost his 2.5 year battle with synovial sarcoma.  This foundation was established in his loving memory with the purpose to support research in sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that primarily affects children and young adults.  Our goal is to assist the fight against sarcoma by collecting funds and putting them towards promising research projects.  All funds received by the foundation are tax exempt and are all used exclusively to further research. READ MORE ABOUT THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE FOUNDATION.
